Description

Lunula is the pagan symbol of moon and femininity. It is a kind of amulet worn by Slavic or Viking women in the pre-christian ages, that brings good luck and magical protection.

This one here is the reconstruction of a find from Kiev, Ukraine. It is 2,4cm (0,94 inch) high and 2,6cm (1,02 inch) wide. Made in sterling silver. The original is dated 10th-11th century AD.
